Jamie Vardys having a party. So are we.
The FFUK end of season party will take place on the evening of Saturday 11th June.
You are invited to join us… See below for more details
So the date is set. This is the first ever FFUK party. But not just any old party or end of season shindig – on offer is also a damn good curry, a few beers, maybe a jager bomb or 2 and then when you have no room for any more we will top it all off by watching England Vs Russia in the Euros.
Are you free on Saturday 11th June 2016? The location (after a lot of deliberation) is going to be The White Bear. A great public house in Rickmansworth with loads of big screens showing the football but just as important, it is also a fine Indian eatery.
For more information including location, check this: http://www.thewhitebearbar.co.uk/
We decided to go for this location as it’s central to a lot of the players in the league and also has good transport links. We should get a good number of people in Rickmansworth, we decided against London as although it may be a better location for some, it will be more difficult for us to sort out the venue. See below for information about Rickmansworth Station which is a 5 min walk from Pub.
Pete knows the bird who runs The White Bear, we have our own area reserved. As they serve us great Indian food, the drinks will be free flowing and we will have our own private area with big screens to watch the match. Sounds perfect.
We need to know numbers ASAP so if you want to attend please let either us know so we can add you to the list.
Anyone in the FFUK league is welcome, bring a friend too, as long as they agree to sign up for next season!
The easiest way to contact us is by sending us an email or a whatsapp message.
Timings are approximate at this stage but a rough plan of action can be found below:
- 6pm arrival at White Bear for pre match drinks and warm up
- 7pm Curry
- 8pm England Vs Russia Kicks off
- 8.45pm Half time oranges
- 9.45pm End of match, Celebratory beers
- 10pm FFUK season awards
Accommodation – There is a Premier Inn about 10 minutes walk away in Croxley Green. If you book accommodation soon you will find bargain rates, alternatively one of the local lads will put you you up on their sofa, probably.
See you on 11th June!
