As promised the FFUK World Cup mini league is up and running and at the time of writing we already have 36 in the league with not very long to go. Can we get up to 50 FFUKers which will mean a prize pool of £500?
With your help we can… If you have already signed up and joined then great, now why not invite your friends/family/colleagues to join. It is always better if you win money off someone you know. The only other thing you have to do is tell us who they are. This is vital. Easiest way to do this is send us their emails and add them to the FFUK Facebook group.
This is because FIFA, in their infinite wisdom, have decided to not include the persons name on the the league table and even asked you not to use your name when you sign up – how are we supposed to ffuking know who is who? I am currently putting together a list of everyone’s names in the league which i will publish before the start. Fortunately Pete and I have done some detective work and we think we have worked out who everyone is so far.
In terms of the game itself the app is out now for android and apple and it works well, a massive improvement on last time. The game looks very similar in terms of scoring to FPL but the main difference is that you can set your team up for each match day and stick or twist with your captains so you need a full playing squad. Plus there are a couple of chips or boosters. Make sure you don’t press those buttons unless you are sure otherwise you can’t turn them off.
