WELCOME TO THE GW14 REVIEW – GOTTA GET THROUGH THIS
We are about to embark on a frenzy of festive football. Strap yourself in for what promises to be an exhilarating few weeks. At times like these I often turn to the great man, Daniel Bedingfield, for inspiration and advice. And like he always does, he came through with a UK garage classic to remind us we “Gotta Get Through This”, if you break down the lyrics you can really see what he was getting at:
I gotta get through this. I gotta get through this. I gotta make it, gonna make, gonna make it through. Said I’m gonna get through this
The pressure is clearly getting to some players, as evidenced by the feature image with Haaland (7) and pals losing their collective shit over a decision that Grealish (5) was never going to score from anyway.
This is gonna be fast and furious, lets crack on and see what happened in GW14.
Starting with the team of the week above, a few more popular players than last time round, how many did you own?

Check out the above Halls of Fame and Shame. Jason Beal (1st), Phil Richards (174th), Mark Leathem (85th), Steven Mountford (9th) and Marcus Holford (89th) will all be a lot happier than Ali Scott Sheppard (224th), Adam Walker(137th), Seb Klyen (220th) and Joseph Reid (22nd).
In terms of transfers the image above shows clearly the best and worst of the week as well as the most transferred in and out in the league.
For lots more stats like this make sure you sign up to the FFUK dossier here.

How has that all affected the top 20 in the FFUK league?
Jason Beal (1st) is still top but Mark Tarbox (2nd) and Rob Scott (3rd) are chasing him down now, the next few weeks will go a long way to deciding our seasons, focus FFUKers!
Top scorer in the league this week was tied between James Nalepa (81st) and Danny Hardwick (13th) with 82 points scored but Danny wins on overall rank. James can console himself with the fact he was the biggest riser in the league, going up 47 places this week.
Alex Sadlier (90th) was the biggest faller in the league, dropping 47 places after scoring just 34 points.

Eviction time. This week Ben Harta (191st) is evicted from the CONTS league after scoring just 37 points. His biggest regret will be benching the top scoring defender this season, Kieron Trippier (12). Bad luck Ben, your time is up in the Conts league for this season.
Reminder – We have our Winter of DisCONTent coming up over Xmas. 12 evictions for 3 consecutive weeks in GW18, 19 & 20. Brutal only comes close to describing it.
That is it for now, but only a few hours until we go again. We will be back on Friday to round up GW15.
Thanks for reading, stay warm and safe and look after each FFUKer.
Until next time
Chris – Once More With Gusto (33rd)
