WELCOME TO THE GW26 REVIEW – BLANK SPACE
How are you feeling after the first proper blank of the season? Well remember this feeling cos we do it all again with even more blanks in GW29. Thanks to King of the Covers, Ryan Adams for the sounds this week.
There were no Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs or Luton players in the team of the week, obviously. Did you own any others from the above team of the week? It was a good week to own Villa and Wham players for sure.
Ok now to even more important matters, the FFUK league…
The names at the top are becoming very recognisable now, especially if you read these reviews. John Harper (5th) high scored in the top 20 with 70 points and this was largely thanks to the King of the GW, Bowen (20). Well done if you held on this long, proving patience really is a fantasy virtue!
70 points was good for the top 20 but that was only the 16th best score in the league, there were in fact only 5 green arrows in the top 20.
Jamie Stewart (75th) was 2nd best overall with 83 points but the best scorer this week was 24 points better than that, wielding his WC to the very best effect, Joseph Mulhern (84th) scored a whopping 107 points, moved up 59 places – which just goes to show how important a good week can be. Joseph will be looking forwards not backwards now.
At the other end of the scale Chris Whiteman (90th) was our biggest faller after scoring just 29 points and falling 29 places – Spooky!
We can also announce the MOTM for February.

And now we come to the eviction and this week its time for another of the FFUK OGs to go. Actually I cant remember if Sam Blake was an OG but he has become part of the furniture now and is one of the most reliable members of the WhatsApp group with this updates. If something is going down, Blakey usually knows about it. But alas its time for him to depart the CONTS mini league this year and focus on the bread and butter of the domestic league.
We have our final eviction event taking place in GW30. Its rather appropriately titlted March Madness and its another crazy one (arent they all?) with 13 evictions, if you are lucky enough to still be in the CONTS then this one is going to be very tough to get through.
