Welcome back to all those from before and an even bigger welcome to any new players this season. You have come to the right place. Ready or not.

As always, there is a plenty of new stuff (see below) so pour yourself a drink and take a seat, the new season is coming!!!

HOW TO JOIN THE FFUK LEAGUE

For those who were with us last season it’s very simple, you will automatically be added back to the league once you have set your team up for this season. Now you can invite your friends to join us.

For any new players, please find below the league code to join.

HOW TO PAY YOUR ENTRY FEE!

Entry to the FFUK league costs £15 for the whole season. Please pay as soon as possible as non-paying teams will be removed at the start of the season.

WHAT’S NEW THIS SEASON?

This season we have a brand new cup competition (this is in addition to our FFUK Cup and Milk Plate which our man Bakes will run), which will be using the new official FPL Classic Cup. Exciting. In terms of format there will be a qualification week followed by weekly ties which climax with the winner crowned in GW38. See below for more from the official rules:

We don’t have any more info on this new competition yet, but as soon as there is news we will let you know.

INVITE YOUR FRIENDS

This is strictly an invitation only league. Always has been, always will be. But with your help this is how we grow each and every season, whilst keeping that community vibe alive. Last season we had 246 players and we want to beat that this time round. But we need your help…

Now you are in It’s the perfect time to invite your friends, family and colleagues to join the FFUK league. If you are in other mini leagues, feel free to invite them to join us.

We will once again be running a competition to see who can recruit the most new players and we are designing and ordering FFUK mugs right now for those that get the most new players in. We will post the leaderboard on WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter. So share this post or the flyer below with anyone who you think might be keen. We just need an email for any new players please so we can contact them if need be regarding payment or prizes.

GET INVOLVED

We are planning to have even more regular articles and videos on the site to keep you informed and entertained. With this in mind, would you like to write a review or article for our website, appear in a video to help in some other way? We have a brilliant team of helpers but we never say no to more. Let us know if want to join the admin crew and we can add you, you just need to agree to write at least one review or article per season and we can help you get set up. In the last couple of years Pete and I have had less and less time to dedicate to this and our admin crew have really stepped up and made this community better than it has ever been before, we want that to continue!

SIDE GAMES

Additional entry fees apply to these side games, which have become a great supplement to the main league over recent years for those that want even more fantasy fun.

This season we have two further competitions that will run along side the main FFUK league. Anyone who is in the FFUK league is eligible to join one or both of these side games.

THE CONTS MINI LEAGUE (£5 entry fee)

This will be the 5th season for the CONTS mini league and it’s grown into its own beast of a competition. The principle is very simple – each gameweek, the lowest scoring team(s) is evicted, until there is just one FFUKer left in GW38. That person is crowned King or Queen CONT. One winner. One prize. There is no limit on this season’s numbers, so total prize to be confirmed. Previous winnners include Daron Russell, Robert Browne, Jamie Stewart and last season King Cont Pete Cronin.

Eviction details will be confirmed as soon as we have final numbers but it will be a single eviction in GW1 and we will once again have the 12 Conts of Christmas when four FFUKers are evicted in each of the three gameweeks around Christmas – Brutal!

NEW HEAD 2 HEAD DIVISIONS (£10 entry fee)

We are introducing a new side game this season, with a twist. In recent seasons we have had a £10 entry H2H league for the admin crew but we are opening it up this season. The admin crew are already in but, we are starting a 2nd league for anyone else that wants to join!

This will mean promotion and relegation to spice things up a bit and prize money will be the same in each division (number promoted/relegated will be finalised when intake confirmed).

Top 3 in each division get paid out at the end of the season. First come first served. Prizes the same in each H2H league: 1st = £100, 2nd = £60, 3rd = £30

WHAT NEXT?

Now it’s the time to tinker with your team, make sure you invite your friends to join us, then tinker some more maybe. Join the CONTS and H2H too if you fancy some extra fun.

We have some great pre-season content lined up to keep you entertained – watch out for an interview with last season’s winner (awkward), some statistical deep dive articles, predictions, team reveals and much more to really get those fantasy juices flowing.
