This season we are changing it up slightly and each day its a different predictor that will be telling you what they think is in store. 5 Premier League predictions and 6 for FPL. Let’s go.

Today is the final day, so last but by no means least its Ameet Shah, our Arsenal fan from South London with a best ever FPL finish of 33k. Check out his picks below:

Q1. What will the top 4 be at the end of this season?

1st Man City / 2nd Arsenal / 3rd Liverpool / 4th Man United

“I think the top 4 will be a lot closer this season. Teams have enjoyed a proper summer break (albeit with long haul money spinning trips in pre season), many have invested well and will comeback stronger. City are yet to go crazy in the market, given the players leaving, but their overall squad still remains strong. Hard to look past the team with the Norwegian meat shield up top.”

Q2. What will the bottom 3 be at the end of the season?

20th Sheff Utd / 19th Luton Town / 18th Bournemouth

“18th place could throw up a surprise, I think WHU, Forest and Wolves will be down there too but I’ve gone with The Cherries to go down. I also think the league will prove too much for Luton and Sheff United.”

Q3. Who wins the golden boot (top goal scorer) in the PL this season?

“Haaland. Kane (if he stays) and Salah might give him a challenge but an injury free Haaland should walk it again.

However, with no World Cup break for Haaland this season, will his habit of missing a few weeks a season due to muscular injuries be a factor again?”

Q4. Which team will do much better than expected this season?

“Can Chelsea do any worse? Chelsea will come back stronger, and of course Liverpool as well.

Villa will be a tricky team to face, and if they keep their squad fit, will push to top 6.”

Q5. Which team will do worse than expected?

“West Ham. The ECL masked a poor season. Rice has left, really struggling to secure signings and I think it’ll be a long tough season for them. Moyesiah could be one of the first in the sack race.”

Q6. Who will be the top scoring GK this season?

“Kepa. Top scoring keepers are usually a mixed bunch, and I’m expecting Kepa to be a busy boy in between the sticks.”

Q7. Who will be the top scoring defender this season?

“Trent – The defender who isn’t the best defender, so they’re just letting him play in midfield. Makes perfect sense.”

Q8. Who will be the top scoring midfielder this season?

“Salah – There will be those that own Mo and those that have FoMO. Which one are you?”

Q9. Who will be the top scoring forward this season?

“Haaland. Boring but most probably true.”

Q10. Which player will be the surprise package next season?

“I think Nkunku will finish in the 8mils category (after starting at 7.5m). Seems to succeed and score goals with ease.”

Q11. Which player will be the biggest disappointment this season?

“Trippier. Disappointment is maybe a tad harsh, but given his previously stunning season and the additional CL schedule, I think there will be a £ vs Points drop off. We started to see that towards the end of last season, but many of us kept faith with Tripp Daddy.”

Massive thanks to Ameet for taking the time to give us his predictions, and thank you to all our previous predictors in the series – James, Ian, Bakes and Justin!
