WHEN: SATURDAY 3rd JUNE 2017 – 6pm Start
WHERE: THE WHITE BEAR, RICKMANSWORTH
FFUKers – With the end of the season now very close, our attention turns to the 2nd End of Season Party. We would love for you to join us.
HAVE YOU RSVP’d YET? This invite is for anyone and everyone in the FFUK league and prospective managers too. Please don’t worry if you don’t know many people in the league, in fact if that is the case then all the more reason to come along, bring a friend. Last year the Champion, Paul Baker, was in attendance and we aim for this to be the case once more, (whoever the winner is?) as well as a good few from the WhatsApp group in particular.
We are all one big FFUK family linked by our love of Fantasy Football. You like Football? Yes. You like Curry? Yes. You like Beer (other drinks are available)? Yes. Well that’s 3 reasons why you should be there. Do you want another? Well it is the Champions League Final too and we have a private area reserved to watch the game. Sounds too good to be true? Well just this once, it really is true. We have seen it with our own eyes!

How to RSVP? If Facebook is your thing, join the group and you will be the first to hear of any news from the league and once you are in there is an event set up for the End of Season Do that you can respond to. If Facebook isn’t your thing (don’t blame you) don’t worry we have started a spreadsheet so we can keep a track. Email us, comment on here or however you want really…
Where is it? The Pub is really well located with easy access to Tube/National Rail/Motorways. Map Below. Post code for Sat Navs/Google Maps is WD3 1JQ.
Do you need somewhere to stay? Lenny Henry informs me there is a Premier Inn nearby. Link below. Rooms are available for approx £75 so not bad and even better value if you share with a fellow FFUKer. Let us know if you are getting accommodation as there may well be a fair few of you. Party back at yours?

How will the evening work? We don’t have an exact plan and in all honesty we expect a fairly informal night – no black tie required or anything like that. But lets say you arrive at the pub for 6pm. After a couple of drinks we will hopefully give the trophy to the champion, quick photo then a sweep-stake for the Champs League final before sitting down to order food. Curry during the first half then relax and enjoy the rest of the game. If its anything like last year there may be drinking games afterwards and Pete knows all the best late night places to go 😉

Finally, sorry to go on but we really need to know numbers for obvious reasons. The area we have reserved has a capacity, we should be fine but it would really help us if you could let us know either way. Conversely I don’t want to end up on my own with Pete, where I am sure he will delight in recounting every decision of his season. Please save me.
See as many of you as possible on 3rd June
Chris & Pete
