Ladies and gentlemen, the time is upon us, and for those of you that are unaware of how our cups work, you are about to find out!
At FFUK we run two cups, the FFUK Cup, and the Challenge Cup.
There are a total of 192 places up for grabs in these two cup competitions, and as there are 225 players in the league this means some 33 players will sit out of the cups.
Qualification for both cups takes place throughout the month of October – which is made up of GW8, GW9 & GW10.
The Top 64 teams for the month of October will be entered into the LIVE VIDEO DRAW for the FFUK Cup which starts in December. No seeding in this cup, anyone can play anyone, depending on the draw. There will then be a video draw for all subsequent rounds.
The next 128 teams (positions 65-192) will be entered into the Challenge Cup. The Challenge Cup will be organised based on seedings so team 65 for October will play team 192, team 66 will play team 191, and so on.
The Challenge Cup fixtures are drawn based on October seedings. These seedings are not based on league position, but on monthly score for October. More info. below.
