Welcome to the GW15 REVIEW – PRIMETIME
Massive thanks to those that have taken the reigns recently with GW reviews, the good news is you will definitely be hearing more from them again soon. But it’s yours truly again this time. With a smorgasbord of games all taking place midweek we were treated to something a bit different via a new offering from Amazon Prime, if you haven’t yet signed up you should as the free trial will include all the GW19 fixtures. I managed to watch Tuesday’s starter and Thursday’s dessert but missed the main course on Wednesday but fortunately I was able to catch up with the highlights, all in crystal clear 4K. Lovely jubbly. So this week’s tune fits nicely, welcome to PrimeTime!

How many of the above GW15 Dream Team above did you own?
Up top there were a trio of fwds who caught the eye. 13 certainly wasnt unlucky for anyone who owned Rash (13), Origi (13) or Jesus (13).
In midfield there were 4 primetime picks for different reasons. Mane (15) has quite simply been the best FPL asset so far, Maddison (10) continues to offer great value as a mid priced gem whilst Schlupp (10) and even more so Dendonker (11) are from the bargain side of the basement.
At the back it was less primetime and more poundshopper 4.3 Manquillo (12), 5.1 Evans (12) and 4.3 Rico (9) all went big but offer great value.
In nets Dubravka (10) came up with a couple of big first half saves to preserve his clean sheet and threw in a couple of save points and a couple of bonus in for good measure.

Former champ and now Mr Cups, Paul Baker (1st) takes top spot in the FFUK league as his form shows no sign of slowing down. 71 scored this week was enough to see off his rivals. His big guns of Captain Vardy (10), Mane (15), Maddo (10), Rash (13) and Ings (9) all came good just when he needed them too. Long way to go but in Paul and Allan Tomkins (3rd) we know these FFUKers have the nouse to stay there. December will go a long way to telling us if they can.
Top scoring FFUKer for GW15 was Neill Goodwin (118th) once again showing the strength in depth in this league. Neill threw down his bench boost chip and went -8 in an effort to go big this week and he was rewarded for his efforts with 89 points, sort of. He needed his bench to come in and save him as Tomori (0), Martial (0) and his captain Salah (0) all missed out completely. Neill was actually one of 7 unlucky FFUKers to give the armband to the Egyptian King. However with VC Mane (30) this could have been a lot worse. Jesus (13), Ings (9), Dendonker (11), Rico (9) and Soyuncu (5) all coming to the rescue. Well played Neill although I can imagine you are left wondering what might have been.

Next best was also 81 by Jamie Davis (15th). No chips, no hits, not even a transfer required. This is FPL at its simple best. Jamie went with 160 FFUKers in picking Vardy (10) as his captain but the rest of his side didn’t let him down at all either. Tammy (12), Rash (13), Mane (15), Maddo (10), Mount (6) and Kelly (6) all did the business, congrats Jamie on a cracking score and cementing a place in the top 20.
He wasn’t alone on 81 as Matt Silley (26th), Rob Smith (53rd) and my Dad Ian Galloway (98th) also broke the 80 point barrier. Congrats to all of you!
At the other end of the scale spare a thought for Jamie Cooper (64th) who only managed 32 points. In fact his Leicester trio of Captain Vardy (10), Pereira (7) and Tielemans (3) accounted for the bulk of these, the rest of his team didn’t turn up at all, more Primark time than Primetime for Jamie this week!

Another GW another eviction. Now just one unlucky FFUKer gets kicked each week in this league. And this time it was one of our junior’s Theo Allen who could only muster 37 points this time and with that becomes this week’s evictee. Still it was a valiant effort to make it through all the double evictions. Apart from his Jamie Vardy cap and a clean sheet for Kelly no-one else did the business for Theo!
Into Kloppage time as I think we will now call it…
