“NO EASY WAY OUT” the curse of the game week reviewer has well and truly befallen me this HALLOWEEN with the lowest GW score in my FPL career; 29 points after a -4 hit. The ramifications of which have been HORRIFIC but we will get to that!
The Friday night KO between Wolves and Palace proved to be a FRIGHT NIGHT for many as word broke that the dependable FPL asset that is SAISS (30.2% FFUK Ownership) had been benched for the evening. Made all the more painful as Wolves managed yet another clean sheet, the bonus for a few was yet to come as LAMPTEY stepped off a number of benches having bagged a goal for Brighton.
There was drama to be had at Turf Moor as news broke that WERNER had been benched (16.3% FFUK Ownership), however there was no FFUKer more relieved than TOM GALLOWAY when PULISIC pulled up injured in the warm up to be replaced by TIMO with his Triple Captain Chip gambled on the German Marksman. There was a massive performance in the offing for Chelsea’s ZIYECH with his first premier league start bagging a goal, an assist and 14 points for his (0.41% of FFUK owners!! watch this change!!)
WARD-PROWSE provided a TRICK and a TREAT for Saints fans reminding everyone of his free kick prowess at Villa park with a brace, overtaking Matt Le Tiss with more direct PL Free kicks scored than the great man himself! Bagging 17 points in the process for his (0.82% of FFUK owners!!).
Unfortunately, as i alluded to, my ownership of the great and the good from GW7 was a big fat Zero!! There were 5 FFUK Caps of this esteemed bunch, 4 on VARDY and 1 on JACK benefitting from a late VILLA fight back against the SAINTS.
We do however have an FPL Manager to celebrate this week unbelievably managing to join the 100 club!! Take a bow ROB HARDING scoring 102 points including a -8 hit. As one of the VARDY caps (28) shored up at the back by WALKER (15) and ZOUMA (14) this was a truly memorable week for this FFUKer as he climbed 96 places breaking into the top 50 and the illustrious page 1 of the FFUK League table.

We have a new TOP DOG in the league as DAVID HARRISON climbs from 10th to 1st with a GW total of 82 points. Special mention reserved for the ever dependable STEVE CRONIN stalking him as he moves up to 2nd from 3rd place!
OCTOBER MOTM
Now as we all know the road to FFUK glory is a marathon not a sprint, where consistency pays off and the rewards are sweet! JAMES DOWNIE is the latest FFUKer to highlight his FPL acumen winning Manager of the month for OCTOBER, a fantastic achievement for which he receives £50. CONGRATULATIONS THAT MAN!
CONTS Eviction
So here we come to the latest CONTS eviction notice, the odds on this particular double would have been worth a punt surely, RONI FRIEL – 33 (yours truly) and GRANT LAWRIE – 34 (2019/20 FFUK Champ), have both been unceremoniously dumped from the competition, SOUL DESTROYING!
“I’m not asking for another chance, I just wanna know why!”.
