Welcome to the Gameweek 30 review and this week’s tune is in honour of the incident everyone was talking about as the refs turned on the players and Andy Robertson took a (deserved?) Elbow to the face. While it was a bit strange to see almost everyone agrees it was much ado about nothing so hopefully there won’t be much more about it, though Robertson can feel aggrieved to receive a yellow card for his troubles. Not as hard done by as Brighton though who once again received an apology from the PGMOL after a number of strange decisions at Tottenham. It was one of those kind of weeks.
You know it’s been a strange week when Jordan Ayew (14) is joint top scorer, in fact Palace scoring 5 under Hodgson seems slightly surreal. Perhaps the players not on this list is more telling with Salah (5) and Toney (4) both missing penalties but still scoring to avoid total wipeout for their managers. Malacia (9) trolled Shaw owners by hoovering up the bonus while an injury to Rashford (6) means Grealish (12) and Martinelli (13) are on many manager’s radar. Haaland (12) and Kane (9) remain the forwards to own but can you afford them both?
FFUK TOP 20
Not much variance (or surprise) with everyone in the top 20 captaining Haaland (12). Rob Pitt (1st) returns to top spot from Vikram Marwaha (2nd). This week’s top scorers were Mark Storrar (37th) and Stephen Mealor (215th) both scoring 85.

This week’s unlucky cont is James Simpson (97) who bravely went without Haaland and despite a return from Captain Watkins couldn’t overcome penalty misses from Toney and crucially Salah.
League Cup
The League cup starts for real this week so be sure to check out your opponent on the official site. Good luck to all.
